We are very pround of our selection of specially chosen resins and incense botanicals. They are almost all directly sourced by us from their country of orgin. Mermade only offers the finest in freshness and quality.
Many resins we offer are very beautiful in appearance and therefore we want you to see and experience them in their whole natural form and do not grind or break them up to sell. (unless otherwise noted)
When you order raw incense resins grom Mermade there are likely to be larger chunks or tears that are too big to place on the heater or charcoal.
Resins keep their scent longer when stored in whole chunks so wait to break up larger pieces until you are ready to use them.
These can be easily broken up into pieces the desired size by:
- Grinding in Mortal and Pestle
For larger amounts:
- Place resin chunks or tears into a freezer weight baggy
- Place baggy on the floor or hard surface with a newspaper under it
- Strike firmly with a mallet or hammer until the consistency is what you want
Be sure to store all incense out of direct sunlight and in an airtight container, this will lengthen the fragrance life of the incense
