Bursera graveolens, known in Spanish as Palo Santo ("holy wood") is a tree that inhabits the coast of Ecuador. It is widely used in folk medicine. Aged heartwood is rich in terpenes such as limonene and a-terpineol and has a wonderful clean woody scent. (I love the smell of Palo Santo to start the day)
