Pinon Pine Resin (Western Pine resin) - Wildcrafted / Colorado - 2 oz.
Golden amber hunks of resin, perfectly clean, gooey and fragrant. This pine was wildcrafted by our friend in Colorado. It is very sweet and soft - Beautiful Stuff!
This has a southwestern sweet /warm and woody scent. Very mellow , a forest balsam. Put a spoonful on the heater and it will warm the room for hours.
This pinon is very fresh and soft, we suggest that you put it in the freezer over night and crack it into small pieces with a hammer , just break it up as you would "toffee".
Or, scoop it out while soft with a small metal spoon and place the spoon directly on the heater , resting in a foil cup.
One of my favorites scents is burning resin rich pinon pine logs in the fireplace during the desert winter. It surrounds our home with the scent of incense.
To clean sticky hands (at kitchen sink)
- Put a splash of Vegetable oil in palms and rub between your hands briskly , the resin will begin to rub off
- Then apply a liquid hand soap or dish soap to oiled hands
- Rub until you do not feel the stickiness anymore - Rinse with Warm water
This is the best way I have found so far and is gentle on hands:)
